Below are a resources for students in need of technology.

  • Financial Aid – Financial aid is monetary assistance for the cost of attending college that comes from a source other than the student and their family. Scholarships, grants, loans and the Federal Work-Study Program are all considered to be types of financial aid.
  • Student Basic Needs Center – Provides information and resources to combat the hardships which adversely affect the ability of JCCC students to complete their academic, professional and personal development. They have a limited number of computer laptops and mobile hotspots available for checkout. Visit the Student Basic Needs Center website or by email at basicneeds@jccc.edu for additional information.
  • Affordable Internet Option (Charter Communications): Charter Communications no longer offers the temporary free 60‑day broadband program for students. However, they continue to provide affordable internet options for low‑income households through their Spectrum Internet Assist program. Eligible households can receive low‑cost, high‑speed internet service to support remote learning and work. Visit the Charter Communications policy page for details on current eligibility and available plans.
