Stumail Account Setup on a Mobile Device

Overview

JCCC provides every enrolled credit student with a JCCC student email account — called "Stumail". This article outlines the steps needed to set up a Stumail account on an mobile device. NOTE: Students may not be able to add a Stumail account to personal Pixel phones.

Instructions

iOS Instructions:

1. Select Settings.
2. Select Mail.
3. Select Mail Accounts.
4. Select Add Account.
5. Enter in the full Stumail email address.
   • Select Next, if you get the prompt "Enter the password for the account" click the Open Browser button. This will redirect to the Microsoft sign-in page.
6. Enter the full Stumail email address and select Next.
7. Enter Password and select Sign in.
8. On the "Stay signed in?" screen, select Yes. Only do this on a personal device.
9. Select Continue if prompted on the Google sign-in page.
10. There may be a "iOS wants access to your Google Account" prompt. Select Continue.
11. Once redirected back to Settings, the Mail toggle must be selected. All other toggles are optional.
12. Select Save once completed.

Android Instructions:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Accounts and Backup.
3. Select Manage Accounts.
4. Select Add Account.
5. Select Google.
6. Sign in with users phone password.
7. Enter Stumail email address and select Next.
8. Select Accept to be redirected to a single sign-on page.
9. Sign in with JCCC credentials.
10. Select I Agree.

NOTE: Students may not be able to add a Stumail account to personal Pixel phones.
