Create New AutoCAD/AutoDesk Account for JCCC Credit Students without JCCC SSO Access

Overview

This article describes the process of getting AutoCad for a student that is not currently in a class that are automatically granted licenses.  Note that these licenses are good for 1 year.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/overview#ACDIST.
  2. Select Student.
  3. Select Continue.
  4. Enter your personal email address (this is an email address that does not end with .edu).
  5. Select I agree to the Autodesk privacy-statement if you agree to their terms.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Enter your personal information in the appropriate fields.
  8. Select Continue when finished.
  9. Enter JCCC related information in the appropriate fields:
  • Address:  12345 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS 66210
  • Institution Type:  University/Post-Secondary
  • Name of educational institution:  Johnson County Community College
  • School Website:  https://www.jccc.edu
  • Enrollment Information:  Enter estimated graduation date
  • Select This information is accurate and matches the identification provided by my school

      8. Upload a document that includes:

  • Your full legal name (first/last)
  • The name of the educational institution at which you are enrolled or employed (Johnson County Community College (Overland Park, KS)
  • A date within the current school term

Note:  the document which contains all of this information is the Unofficial Transcript from my.jccc.edu.
