Set Audio Output Device in Windows

Overview


You may want to change your audio output device from a headset, to built in computer speakers, or to a set of external speakers. This article describes the process for selecting a sound output device for the Windows operating system.

 

Instructions


  1. Right-click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner.
  2. Select Sound Settings.
  3. If needed, select the drop-down menu under Choose where to play sound.
  4. Select desired output device.

An alternate way to access this setting.

  1. Rick-click Windows Start button.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select System.
  4. Select Sound.
  5. If needed, select the drop-down menu under Choose where to play sound.
  6. Select desired output device.

Review the Zoom site for instructions to adjust audio settings in Zoom.
