Recommended minimum computer specifications for online learning:
- OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11 for PC / macOS 10.13 High Sierra or higher
- Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD equivalent or better
- Display: 13" or larger
- Memory: 8GB or higher
- Hard Drive: 256GB Solid State Drive (SSID) or higher
- I/O ports: Two USB 3.0 ports
- Camera/Mic: Built-in
- Video out: HDMI or DisplayPort
- Wireless: AC preferred, N minimum
- Warranty: 3 year or better
- Backup Solution: Use of Cloud-based storage such as OneDrive, iCloud, or Google Drive or External Storage Device
This standard supports basic software applications needed for online learning such as:
- Browser
- Canvas
- Yuja
- Zoom
- Office 365 applications

- The above are minimum suggested specifications - please check requirements for additional applications you plan to install on your computer.
- Chromebooks and iPads may not be fully compatible with Canvas, Zoom, and Yuja applications.
- Chromebooks do not allow the download of Microsoft 365 applications.
- They offer online access to the applications, but some key features are missing between the two experiences and may be required features to complete homework.
- Snapdragon processors are not compatible with Cisco AnyConnect if VPN connections are required.
