Office 365 Student Advantage Access

Overview

If you are enrolled in at least one credit class at Johnson County Community College, you have free access to Microsoft Office software.  Access is available from the start date of the class, to the end of that semester. 

Microsoft Office is one of the most widely used and in-demand software programs in the nation. The package includes access to:

• Microsoft Word
• Excel
• PowerPoint
• OneDrive

Fees for such products can range from $100 to $300, even with student discounts, but all fees are waived thanks to the Microsoft Student Advantage program. This program allows you to download and install a version of Microsoft Office called Office 365 Pro Plus.

Once you graduate or are no longer enrolled for credit courses, you will lose your free license.

Note: Access to O365 for download is not available until the start of the semester.

Instructions

1. Sign in to Office 365 Student Advantage.
2. Enter your JCCC email (username@stumail.jccc.edu), select Next.
3. Enter your password, select Sign in.
4. Select Install Office.
5. Select Close on the pop-up.
6. Run the file that is downloaded.
7. Office 365 will automatically run through the installation and will let you know when the installation is complete.
