Office 365 Application Error Message Regarding Multiple Signed in Users

Overview


This article is for when you receive the error, "Sorry, another account from your organization is already signed in on this computer" in native Office 365 applications on Windows devices. This article is not for O365 web applications.

 

Instructions


  1. Open any O365 application, e.g. Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel.
  2. Select File in the top-left.
  3. Select Account.
    • Office Account is the same as Account.
  4. Select Sign Out.
  5. Restart the computer.
  6. Open any O365 application again.
    • Sign into your account using your full JCCC email address and JCCC password.
