This article describes the 3-step JCCC account setup process a student should follow after receiving their acceptance email.

NOTE: Password criteria can be found on the Username & Password Help website, under Frequently Asked Questions.

 

Instructions


Step 1. Registering Your Account

Registration of your account will allow you to reset your password at any time. You will need for account registration: JCCC Student ID number, Username, Temporary password, and JCCC email address. You can find all of these in your acceptance email.

  1. Visit the Username & Password Help web page.
  2. Select Register Account.
  3. At the Microsoft Sign In page, enter your JCCC email address (username@stumail.jccc.edu).
  4. Select Next.
  5. Enter your temporary password found in your acceptance letter.
  6. Select Sign in.
  7. Choose one or more Authentication Options to help you later if you need to reset your password.
  8. Select Set it up now.
  9. Follow the instructions to complete registration.
  10. Select Finish.
 

Step 2. Changing Your Password

Changing your password helps you set a password that will be easier to remember.

  1. Visit the Username & Password Help web page.
  2. Select Change Password.
  3. At the Microsoft Sign In page, enter your JCCC email address (username@stumail.jccc.edu).
  4. Select Next.
  5. Enter your temporary password.
  6. Select Sign in.
  7. Enter your temporary password in the old password field.
  8. Create a new password in the create new password field.
  9. Re-enter your new password in the confirm new password field.
  10. Select Submit.
 

Step 3. Log in to MyJCCC

You are now ready to log into your MyJCCC account where you will have access to items such as your JCCC email, add/drop classes, and to check your Finances and Records.

  1. Visit the JCCC home page.
  2. Select Login on the top right-hand corner of the JCCC web page.
  3. Select MyJCCC.
  4. Enter your JCCC email address (username@stumail.jccc.edu).
  5. Select Next.
  6. Enter your newly created password.
  7. Select Sign in.

 

Student stumail inbox -> Your stumail inbox will be accessible under the JCCC Student Email card. Be sure to explore the features, links and announcements located throughout the different MyJCCC cards.
