Adobe Creative Cloud - Student Access

Overview


Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from Adobe Inc. that provides its users access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development and photography. JCCC provides at-home access to the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for credit students enrolled in specific JCCC online courses.  However, there are specific exemptions. 

Access to Adobe Creative Cloud on personal student devices using a remote adobe account is restricted to the designated courses listed below.

WEB 118, WEB 125, and WEB 126

(Campus computer lab workstations in FADS, GEB, LIB, OCB and RC buildings have the full Adobe suite available for use in the computer lab ) 


Requirements: 
course enrolment   WEB 118, WEB 125, and WEB 126

  • Access to your JCCC stumail account
  • JCCC student currently enrolled in an eligible credit course subject:
    • View the attached document "[Spring 2024] Downloading Adobe Products for Students Off Campus.pdf" on the right for a full list of eligible course subjects. 

To find your course subject:

  1. Login to MyJCCC.
  2. Select the Student tab.
  3. In the My Courses section, the course subject is in all capital letters to the left of the course name.

 

Additional Helpful Links and Important Information:

  • You will need to set up a separate password to access Adobe Creative Cloud. This password is separate from your MyJCCC password.
  • The first Adobe application installed on your computer will include the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application. This application is used to manage future Adobe application installations.

Please follow the instructions below to gain access to the Creative Cloud Desktop Apps on your personal device.

If you already have an Adobe subscription, please continue to use that login. 

 

Instructions


  1. Open a web browser, navigate to https://creativecloud.adobe.com.
  2. Select Sign In.
  3. Select Create an account.
  4. Enter your JCCC stumail address (reminder - you must be a student in one of the eligible courses listed in the attached document).
  5. Select Continue.
  6. You will receive a prompt asking you to check your email inbox.
  7. Sign into your stumail account.
  8. Select the email you received from Adobe to reset your password.
  9. Select this link.
  10. When your password is reset, you can login to Adobe.
  11. Open a web browser, navigate to https://creativecloud.adobe.com.
  12. Enter your password.
  13. Select Continue.
  14. Select Manage account.
  15. Select View all apps and services.
  16. Select Access your apps and services.
  17. Select Download for the product you want.
  18. Select OK.
  19. Save and run the installer.
  20. Select Continue.
  21. A browser window will open. Type your credentials for Adobe. You will get a confirmation message.
