Overview
This article describes how to access your Google Drive storage, how to view your usage, and explain the new storage limit guidelines. Google Drive is a cloud-based storage service that enables users to store and access files online. The service syncs stored documents, photos, and more across all of the user's devices, tablets, and PC's.
Instructions
Access Student Google Drive
- Navigate to jccc.edu.
- Select Login.
- Select My JCCC.
- Enter JCCC Username and Password.
- In the JCCC Student Email card, select Go to Your Student Email.
- On the Gmail page select the Google Apps waffle Icon at the top right of the screen.
- Select Drive [This will open the Google Drive page].
Note: The Google Drive storage limit is now 5GB. If you are over the 5GB limit you will receive a message that you are over the 5GB limit and to reduce usage. To view your usage scroll down to the bottom of the options in the panel of the left side of the screen. Under Storage you should see how many bytes of the 5GB you are using. If you are over the limit it will show you exactly how much and you will need to reduce this storage below 5GB.
