Overview
A student can choose to receive weekly, daily, immediate, or no notifications for a variety of topics in Canvas. These notifications are sent to a student's stumail address. This article describes the process for changing Canvas notification settings.
Instructions
- Log in to Canvas.
- Select the Account icon on the left sidebar.
- Select Notifications.
- Select the icon to the right of each topic to choose a notification setting for that specific topic.
Note: The green icon shows the current notification setting. The gray icons mean that notifications are turned off for those topics. Hover the mouse over an icon for a description of what it means.
