Change Course Colors in Canvas

Overview

By default, Canvas gives each course in your dashboard a random background color. These colors are also shown next to each course's assignments that are auto-populated in the Canvas calendar. This article describes how to change the color of a Canvas course to one of your preferences.

 

Instructions

  1. Login to Canvas.
  2. Select Dashboard.
  3. Select the 3 vertical dots, located in the right corner of the course card.
  4. Select the color you wish to assign to your class.
  5. Select Apply.
