Overview
This article describes different ways to search the Knowledge Base for specific articles. These articles are written by the Technical Support Center with input from the Information Services Department and various departments on campus to produce pertinent articles with viable information for our users.
Instructions
Browsing by Category View
- Select Knowledge Base.
- Knowledge Base Categories are displayed.
- Select a Category to search.
- Once you have selected your category, you can search by keywords to your article. For example, if you are looking for an article about Outlook, use terms in the search box like: Outlook, mail or sorting. Use specific search terms based on whatever issue you might be having.
General Searching
- Select Knowledge Base.
- Select Search.
- Enter your Search Criteria.
- Select Search.
Note: To search for multiple words, enter the search terms within quotation marks in the Search box.
