Overview
This article describes how students can create a free Adobe account on Adobe's website. This account will allow you to access Adobe products from computers located in the computer labs on campus.
Note: This will not grant access to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite on personal devices.
If you're in a class with a CRN that grants a license directly to you, please select this article: Adobe Creative Cloud for JCCC Adobe Licensed Students.
Instructions
- In your web browser, navigate to https://account.adobe.com.
- If you are in a JCCC computer lab you can simply select any Adobe icon.
- On the sign in page, select Create an account.
- Register an account with a valid personal email address.
- Do NOT use a JCCC stumail address.
- You will need to access the email address you do use to register.
- Once the email and password fields are filled in, select Continue.
- You should receive an email from Adobe with a link to verify your email address (This usually arrives within 15 minutes.)
Do not save any files on the JCCC device you are using. Files saved on JCCC devices are deleted after every reboot. As a result, they will not be available the next time you log into the machine. To avoid losing your work, save your files to a personal removable drive or your student OneDrive account.
