Access Google Drive Desktop Publishing (DTP) Folders

Overview


This article describes setting up the Google Drive Desktop Publishing (DTP) folders. These folders are generally utilized by students in the Graphic Design Program.

Visit DTP Google Drive Access for further information on the setup process.

Note: You will need to sign in using your JCCC student account. If you have previously signed in with a personal account, you will need to sign out, then sign back in with your JCCC student account.

 

Instructions


First Time Access:

  1. Navigate to Google Drive.
  2. Select Go to Drive.
  3. Enter full student email address (username@stumail.jccc.edu).
  4. After being redirected to the JCCC Sign-on Page, sign in using JCCC email address and password.
  5. Navigate to the following DTP-Google Drive.
  6. The DTP Folders will appear.
  7. My Drive > DTP will appear at the top. Right Click the DTP header.
  8. Select Add to my Drive from the menu that appears.

The DTP Folders will now appear under the students My Drive folder.

 

Getting back to DTP Folders:

  1. Navigate to Google Drive.
  2. Select Go to Drive.
  3. Enter full student email address (username@stumail.jccc.edu).
  4. After being redirected to the JCCC Single Sign-on Page, sign in using JCCC username and password.

My Drive should be selected after signing in. The DTP Folder should appear as one of the options.
