Change Default Language in Canvas

Overview

Students may want to change the default language in Canvas from the system default to their native language. This article provides instructions for changing the default language in Canvas.

Instructions

1. Log in to Canvas.
2. Select the Account icon on the left side of the page.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Edit Settings on the right side of the page.
5. Select the dropdown arrow to the right of Language.
6. Select the desired language.
7. Select Update Settings.
